The most inportant thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother.
Theodore Hesburgh
As I read this statement I thougth to myself-"Yeah, what he said". I should have known better than to think that phrase because God always says "Really?" What is the most important thing I can do for my children; love their father. I began to reflect of different times in my children's lives. I realized they were most content when they filled with loved, I mean really filled with love. What was going on in our family to create fulfillment in them? Everytime their fulfillme nt went back to when my relationship with their father was in line where it should have been in God's eyes.
1st God, 2nd their dad, Steve, 3rd the girls. If I try to move anyone of those out of line, things seem to begin crumble.
Trust in the Lord with all you heart, do not depend on you own understanding. Seek His will in all you do and He will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6

Too Busy?
Do you every feel like you are too busy to ever get around doing the small stuff? Last night my older daughter asked if she and I could have some time to spend doing special things just the two of us. I told her sure how about next Tuesday morning. She smiled and said ok.
Later I thought how God must feel when He wants to spend time with us and we schedule Him into our lives. Like next Tuesday. Wow, what am I missing by putting off the ones who love me or what are they missing by me putting them off.
Take a look at a situation in your life where you can change just by taking 5 minutes out of your day to spend with God, our father, or someone else.
